Production of the week #1

Welcome to the first edition of ‘Production of the Week’, where I’ll be sharing some tracks that I think have something special, either mixing, mastering, or even just cool production work.

You can listen to the first week’s track here. It’s one I have been absolutely loving recently. It’s 20/20 Soundsystem’s big tune ‘Falling’, recently remixed by Random Factor. It’s such a sick mix of techy-electro and wobbly house. Also, the mix is super nice on this. The drums are so punchy and saturated. Listen to the snare drum and that really low bass just slamming—the whole mix just beautifully pumps. A great example of how the mix and sound-design totally compliments a track.
